Tournament review

The first part of the match ended in a draw, leaving the overall result open question. Beatriz Alfonso signed draw with Amaia Iza, while the champion of Catalonia Yolanda Peñas added the only victory on the Catalan side. On the third bord Clara Orriols was unable to hold Spain U18 ex-champion Albanta Iglesias. On day two the scales turned in favour of Catalonia with two convincing wins on top boards, even though Clara Orriols lost on time in a good position.
