Tournament review

Andorra with GM De la Riva on top board were top seeded narrowly ahead of Faroe Islands and Luxembourg. Luxembourg lost to Andorra on the opening day and subsequently to the Faroese losing to finish in third spot. The leading duo met in the fifth round to make four brisk draws leaving Faroe Islands two point ahead. Their victory was stamped with an easy 3½-½ win vs Guernsey on the last day. The hosts came second scoring 8 match wins and 1 draw. The winners avoided single game loss and scored 29/36 overall (+22 =14). The top board H. Ziska scored best individual result 8/9
