Tournament review

The traditional Mitropa Cup took place on Montecatini resort, Tuscany. Hungary showed up with highest Elo (2491) but ultimatley came only in tied third being left by teams of Slovenia and Croatia. Most of the teams coprised of young players with some routined ones among them. Austria fielded U26 team and came only 9th. Christian White missed his IM norm by just half of a point.

Slovenia won beating runners-up Croatia 3-1 on the last day.
