Tournament review

The 12th championship took place in Kiekrz, the village near Poznań, a beautiful countryside resort. The event took part in the Polish Telecom conference center. Polish post was represented by one of Poland's top clubs Pocztowiec. The favourites took gold, although they lost to Germany 1½-2½ in round five. The Swiss team fielded a.o. Hans Suri (2/3), long time organiser of Biel Festivals and team captain Jo Zahner, PCA Horgen tournaments arbiter.
