Tournament review

It was played in the hall of the Croatian Craftsmen House in Zagreb. Current champions Partizan came without Gligorić (who was in Amsterdam), Trifunović (joined them before the league), Marković (transferred to BUŠK) and Šiška, and could not defend the title. The team of Belgrade University Chess Club Milan Vidmar was celebrating. They showed good level of home analysis won most of the adjourned games. Their defeat in the last round came as a result of securing first place. Mladost surprised in second place, while Partizan took third and Krim came fourth. Fifth and sixth, Belgrade ŠK and Novi SadŠK will have to play in the qualifiers, while the last two teams, Zagreb and Borac, were relegated.
